First, it is important that all furniture be removed from around the surface. Potted plants and equipment that stand in the way of being able to clean the surface underneath. We will remove all loose soil and debris from the surface.

Prepare Surface For Cleaning

Next we inspect the area for visible staining to determine stain types and quantity. We then determine the appropriate cleaners and tools needed to complete the job.

Establish A Cleaning Strategy

We start by applying a safe-to-use, concentrated multi-purpose degreaser to help break down any dirt, oil and food stains. Once the solution has dwelled, we pressure wash the pavers using 4000 psi and a commercial grade surface cleaner.

The correct preparation and installation of either polymeric sand or joint sand with a joint stabilizing sealer, will help resist sand washout, reduce weed growth and deter insect infestation. It is important to us that your paver joints be filled with clean, correctly graded joint sand that meets the ASTM C144 standard.

Before sealing, we ensure the surface is thoroughly clean and free from stains, oil, sand, and loose material. A properly cleaned surface will provide optimal conditions for the sealer adhesion.

Inspect The Area

First step in sealing is to protect any surrounding landscape, vehicles, buildings and window glass from potential sealer over spray. When spraying the surface we also use a paint shield to protect those surrounding areas. A flood coat is applied to ensure proper joint sand penetration. A second application is applied while the first is still wet and in the opposite direction of the first application to ensure maximum coverage.
